History

AVIAKRUG Co. Ltd. commenced after-sales service and product support of the Ka-32 and Mi-17 civil helicopter types in 2000.

From 2005 onwards the Company initiated its programme for the repair/overhaul and conversion of Ka-32T/C helicopters into Ka-32A helicopters, including certification of the necessary changes in the configuration of the helicopters under the IAC Aviation Register. Thus far, the Company has converted 8 such helicopters.

In 2007 AVIAKRUG Co. Ltd. commenced deliveries of the Ka-32A11BC helicopters to the Republic of Korea, and in accordance with the contract a total of 7 such helicopters will be supplied.

In early 2008 AVIAKRUG Co. Ltd. underwent a certification procedure to ensure that all the Company’s purchases, stowage and delivery of aviation products met the requirements of the Interstate Aviation Committee standard IACST 007-01-03 (MCTMAK 007-01-03). In August 2008 the Company’s quality management system was certified in accordance with the ISO 9001-2000 international standard.
